Control your privacy settings in Lungoor Voice.

Overview

Lungoor Voice gives you full control over your privacy. The Privacy settings let you decide whether your recordings can be used to help improve Lungoor's accuracy.

Share Recordings to Improve Accuracy

When a transcription is saved, Lungoor uploads that recording and its text to help improve accuracy. Off by default.

This optional setting lets you contribute to making Lungoor better for everyone by sharing your transcriptions with our team.

When enabled, Lungoor sends:

• Your audio recording
• The transcribed text
• The style that was applied
• Language and mode information

This data is used only to improve Lungoor's accuracy and speech recognition - never for advertising, tracking, or any other purpose.

Default Privacy

This setting is off by default. Your recordings and transcriptions stay private on your device and account unless you explicitly enable sharing.

You maintain complete control - you can turn this on or off anytime.

Why Share Recordings

Sharing your recordings helps Lungoor:

• Improve accuracy for your voice and accent
• Better recognize specialized vocabulary and terms you use
• Enhance support for different languages and dialects
• Make the transcription engine smarter for everyone

Your Data is Safe

Even if you enable sharing:

• Only Lungoor team members access the data
• Your personal information (name, email, etc) is not included
• Shared recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest
• You can revoke this permission anytime and stop sharing

Turning Sharing On or Off

To enable or disable recording sharing:

1. Go to Settings

Open Lungoor and go to Settings from the sidebar.

2. Click Privacy

Find the Privacy section in your Settings.

3. Toggle Share recordings to improve accuracy

Enable or disable the toggle based on your preference.

4. Your choice is saved immediately

Changes take effect right away.

Tips

• This is completely optional - Lungoor works perfectly fine with sharing disabled
• If you're concerned about privacy, you can safely leave this off
• If you want to help make Lungoor better, enabling this is a great way to contribute
• You can change your mind anytime - there's no commitment
• Disabling this doesn't affect your ability to use Lungoor or access your history
