1. Acceptance of Terms
Lungoor Notes, a venture of Surfboard India Pvt. Ltd. is operated by Surfboard India Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our") at 8th Floor, New Viva College, Y.K Nagar, Virar West, Palghar, Maharashtra, 401303. Contact: [email protected] | Phone: +91 93730 23384
By accessing or using Lungoor Notes, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, do not use the service. These terms are a contract between you and Surfboard India Pvt. Ltd.
2. Age Requirements
Lungoor Notes is available to users aged 18 and above. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
3. Description of Service
Lungoor Notes provides meeting intelligence features including meeting transcription capture and summary generation. When you connect Jira Cloud, you may create Jira issues from meeting notes and transcript topics. Insights are generated only from user-authorized meeting data and are not used for profiling unrelated to user-requested functionality.
4. User Accounts
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and remain responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in is Google OAuth only and requires a work or organization email on a non-consumer domain (not personal providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, or similar free email services). After sign-in, you may connect Google Calendar using any Google account you authorize.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal or fraudulent activities
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the platform
- Use the service in ways that damage or impair operation
6. Credits and Payments
Lungoor Notes operates on a prepaid credit-based payment model. By purchasing credits, you agree that:
- All credit purchases are final and non-refundable once processed
- Unused credits don't expire and remain available in your account
- Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances where Lungoor Notes has failed to deliver the service due to a technical fault on our end
- Refund requests must be submitted to within 7 days of the incident
- All refund decisions are at the sole discretion of Surfboard India Pvt. Ltd.
7. AI-Powered Features
AI outputs may not always be accurate or complete. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for important decisions.
8. Speech-to-Text and Data Processing
Speech and meeting data processed by Lungoor Notes can be retained as transcription records and related artifacts, as described in our Privacy Policy. Transcription may use third-party providers listed there.
9. Third-Party Services
Lungoor Notes uses named third-party processors - including Google Authentication, Slack API, and Atlassian (Jira Cloud API) - only to deliver the service. What each processor receives, including whether it receives Google user data, is documented in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
All third-party processors used by Lungoor Notes - whether named in these Terms or our Privacy Policy or used without being listed by name (including AI language-model, speech-to-text, and analytics providers) - maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance. We engage only processors that meet this standard so your data is protected under independently audited security controls.
10. Cookies and Analytics
Lungoor Notes uses authentication cookies to maintain sessions and analytics cookies as described in Sections 5 and 6 of our Privacy Policy.
11. Google User Data
Collection, use, storage, sharing, retention, and your controls for Google user data (including Calendar) are governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary:
- Lungoor Notes currently supports Google Calendar only
- It requests read-only calendar event access when you sign in with Google and when you connect additional Google Calendar accounts
- Sign-in is Google OAuth only and requires a work or organization email on a non-consumer domain (not personal providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, or similar free email services)
- You can disconnect additional Calendar connections in Lungoor Notes settings
- Sign-in Calendar access is revoked via Google Account permissions
- Deleting your main account (by email request) removes data for all connected Calendar accounts
12. Limited Use Compliance
Lungoor Notes' use of data received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not:
- Use Google user data for advertising or ad targeting
- Sell Google user data to any third party
- Use Google user data to train AI or machine learning models
- Share Google user data beyond the named processors in our Privacy Policy, and only to the extent described there
- Use Google user data for any purpose other than providing the meeting workflow features you have requested
13. Data Retention and Deletion Requests
Retention and deletion of Google user data and meeting data follow our Privacy Policy. Lungoor Notes does not offer self-service account deletion. Email [email protected] to request deletion of your main account and all associated data (including every connected Calendar account). We aim to send an initial response within 24-48 business hours and complete deletion within 30 days after we verify your request.
14. Your Controls and How to Revoke Access
Disconnect additional Calendar integrations, Slack, or Jira in Lungoor Notes settings, or revoke OAuth access at:
- myaccount.google.com/permissions - Google; Lungoor Notes may appear as Lungoor Notes or Lungoor Notes AI
- id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/apps - Jira
- Remove Lungoor Notes from your Slack workspace
Sign-in Google access cannot be revoked inside Lungoor Notes - use Google Account permissions. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
15. Intellectual Property
All Lungoor Notes platform content, software, and branding are owned by Surfboard India Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any part without prior permission.
16. Service Availability
We aim for reliable service but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, infrastructure issues, and third-party interruptions may occur.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of India, Surfboard India Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data or business interruption
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs
Use of the platform is at your own risk.
18. Termination
You may stop using Lungoor Notes and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, use the service unlawfully, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law - will remain in effect.
19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of Lungoor Notes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thane, Maharashtra, India.
20. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll notify registered users by email at least 7 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of Lungoor Notes after updates means you accept the revised terms.
