Meetings & transcription
Overview
The heart of Lungoor Notes is live capture and real-time transcription. The app pairs live audio recording with a rolling, interactive transcript, letting you focus on the conversation instead of taking manual notes. Once your meeting wraps up, you can generate a structured summary and action items.
Meeting Capture Workflows
You can capture a meeting using two simple methods:
Calendar-Driven Capture
On the home calendar strip, look for your scheduled meeting and click Meeting note. Click the green play button in the recording control to start capturing.
Quick Capture
If you're in an unscheduled discussion, click Quick note on the dashboard and select the green play button to start recording immediately.
Audio Paths and Streaming
Your microphone stream captures your voice, while enabling the Include meeting and tab audio setting mixes in sound from other meeting participants. The app combines microphone and system audio into a single mono stream for cloud providers like Deepgram and Soniox, or splits them into separate chunks for local Whisper processing.
Real-Time Transcript Interface
As you talk, interim text displays live on your screen. The app merges these text segments during brief pauses and syncs them to your account. The recording control floats on top of the app, which means you can navigate to other folders or view previous notes without stopping your active meeting.
Ask Anything
After you stop recording and click Summarize, you can use the Ask Anything field in the note footer to ask questions about the meeting. Please note that if your transcript is still processing, the interface will display a message stating that chat needs a transcript note.
Normal workflows support meetings up to about two hours in length.
Connect AI Tools
AI assistants can read stored meetings via Connect AI tools (MCP).
Tips
Don't close the floating recording control if you need to browse other files. It persists across all views so you don't lose your live session.
