Lungoor

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lungoor AI, a suite of voice-first AI products for modern work, developed and operated by Surfboard India Pvt Ltd. The suite currently includes Lungoor Notes and Lungoor Voice, with Lungoor Coach coming soon.
By accessing lungoor.ai, the marketing website for Lungoor AI products, creating an account, installing an application, connecting an integration, purchasing credits, or using any Lungoor service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use Lungoor.
Some Lungoor products may have product-specific terms, policies, or feature rules. Those product-specific terms apply in addition to these Terms. If there is a conflict for a particular product or feature, the product-specific terms will apply to that product or feature.
2. Eligibility
Lungoor is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.
By using Lungoor, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- The information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
- If you use Lungoor on behalf of an organisation, you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that do not satisfy these requirements.
3. Description of Services
Lungoor provides AI-powered productivity tools that help users transform voice, meetings, notes, and text into structured, useful, and actionable content.
Depending on the product you use, features may include:
- Speech recognition and voice dictation
- Audio transcription
- AI-assisted writing, rewriting, and formatting
- Grammar improvement
- Meeting transcription and summaries
- Action item extraction
- Translation
- Meeting search and cross-meeting insights
- Calendar, messaging, issue-tracking, and workplace integrations
- Cloud sync and history
- Credit-based usage and productivity workflows
- Coaching and future AI-assisted productivity features
We continuously improve Lungoor, and features may change, evolve, be limited, or be discontinued over time.
4. Account Responsibilities
Some features require an account.
You agree that:
- You will provide accurate and current account information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You will promptly notify us of unauthorised account access or suspected security issues.
- You will not share access in a way that bypasses product, plan, or billing limits.
For products that use third-party sign-in, your access may also depend on the relevant third-party provider's terms and account status.
Lungoor AI may use one shared Google authentication setup across Lungoor AI, Lungoor Voice, Lungoor Notes, and Lungoor Coach when available. By using Google sign-in, you acknowledge that your Lungoor account may be used across supported Lungoor products, and product-specific permissions may apply only to the product features you choose to use.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Lungoor only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
You must not:
- Use Lungoor for illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
- Upload, process, or distribute unlawful, infringing, abusive, or malicious content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Lungoor systems, accounts, data, or integrations.
- Interfere with the security, reliability, availability, or operation of Lungoor.
- Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, resell, or exploit Lungoor except where permitted by law.
- Circumvent usage limits, credit systems, billing mechanisms, access controls, or security protections.
- Use automated systems to overload, abuse, or degrade Lungoor.
- Use Lungoor to create or distribute spam, malware, phishing, deceptive content, or other harmful material.
- Use Lungoor in safety-critical contexts where failure or inaccuracy could cause serious harm.
Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to Lungoor, including audio, transcriptions, notes, meeting data, prompts, files, and generated outputs to the extent permitted by law.
By using Lungoor, you grant Surfboard India Pvt Ltd a limited licence to host, transmit, process, transform, store, and display your content solely as necessary to:
- Provide the features you request
- Maintain and secure the service
- Support your account
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enforce these Terms
We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your content to train external AI models without your explicit consent.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content to Lungoor, including consent from meeting participants where required by law.
7. AI-Powered Features and Output
Lungoor uses artificial intelligence to assist with transcription, formatting, writing, summarisation, translation, meeting intelligence, action item extraction, coaching, and related productivity features.
AI-generated output may contain inaccuracies, omissions, hallucinations, formatting errors, or incomplete information.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated output before relying on it or sharing it.
Lungoor should not be relied upon as the sole basis for:
- Legal advice
- Medical decisions
- Financial decisions
- Employment decisions
- Regulatory compliance
- Safety-critical activities
- High-impact decisions affecting rights or wellbeing
8. Audio, Transcription, and Meeting Workflows
Lungoor products may process audio, speech, meeting recordings, transcripts, and meeting metadata to deliver requested features.
By using transcription or meeting features, you acknowledge that:
- Audio may be transmitted to speech processing providers.
- Text, transcripts, and meeting context may be processed by AI providers.
- Lungoor Voice generally processes audio and transcription content transiently unless storage or troubleshooting features are enabled.
- Lungoor Notes may retain meeting transcriptions, summaries, metadata, and related artifacts to provide meeting history, search, insights, integrations, and workflows.
- You are responsible for informing participants and obtaining any consent required before recording, transcribing, or summarising meetings.

9. Integrations and Third-Party Services
Some Lungoor features rely on third-party services, including authentication providers, calendar providers, AI providers, speech-to-text providers, analytics providers, payment processors, cloud infrastructure, messaging providers, issue-tracking providers, and other integration partners.
By connecting or using an integration, you authorise Lungoor to access, process, and transmit the information necessary to provide the requested integration feature.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Lungoor is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
You may disconnect supported integrations through product settings or through the third-party provider's account permissions page.
10. Third-Party User Data and Limited Use
Some Lungoor products use third-party sign-in or integration features. Lungoor Notes may request read-only calendar access to support meeting workflows.
Our use of third-party sign-in, calendar, and integration data is limited to providing or improving the user-requested features described in our Privacy Policy and applicable product-specific notices.
We do not:
- Use third-party user data for advertising or ad targeting.
- Sell third-party user data.
- Use third-party user data to train AI or machine learning models.
- Share third-party user data beyond the processor categories described in our Privacy Policy and only to the extent required to provide requested features.
You can revoke third-party access through the relevant provider's account permissions settings.
11. Credits, Billing, and Payments
Certain Lungoor products and features may require paid plans, subscriptions, or prepaid credits.
By purchasing or using paid features, you agree that:
- Credits may be consumed when you use paid processing features.
- Credit consumption may vary depending on product, feature, model, mode, duration, or processing requirements.
- Unless otherwise stated, purchased credits do not expire.
- You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and charges.
- Prices, plans, and credit rules may change prospectively.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Lungoor does not collect or store complete payment card information, UPI credentials, or other sensitive payment credentials.
12. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund requests may be considered in circumstances such as:
- Duplicate payments
- Billing errors
- Technical issues preventing access to purchased services
- Accidental purchases reported within a reasonable period
Refund requests are reviewed individually and remain subject to applicable law and our reasonable discretion.
To request a refund, contact [email protected] with your account email, transaction details, and a description of the issue.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, credits already consumed are not refundable.
13. Intellectual Property
All software, technology, designs, branding, documentation, interfaces, logos, graphics, APIs, product workflows, and website content associated with Lungoor are owned by or licensed to Surfboard India Pvt Ltd.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not:
- Copy
- Modify
- Redistribute
- Sell
- Lease
- Reverse engineer
- Create derivative works from
- Commercially exploit
any part of Lungoor without prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Lungoor intellectual property to you.
14. Feedback
If you provide ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant Surfboard India Pvt Ltd permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation for improving Lungoor products and services.
15. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data across Lungoor products.
By using Lungoor, you agree that your information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable product-specific privacy notices.
16. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable services, but Lungoor may occasionally experience interruptions due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Infrastructure upgrades
- Internet connectivity issues
- Third-party service disruptions
- Security incidents
- Force majeure events
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available access.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Lungoor at any time. You may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You violate these Terms.
- You misuse Lungoor or connected services.
- Your activity creates security, legal, or operational risk.
- Payment obligations are not satisfied.
- We are required to do so by law.
Upon termination:
- Your right to access Lungoor ends immediately.
- Outstanding payment obligations remain.
- We may delete or retain data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Sections relating to intellectual property, user content, liability, governing law, dispute resolution, and payment obligations survive termination.
18. Disclaimers
Lungoor is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant that:
- Lungoor will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended purpose.
- Transcriptions, summaries, translations, or action items will be free from errors.
- Integrations or third-party services will remain available.
You use Lungoor at your own risk and remain responsible for reviewing outputs and maintaining backups of important content.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Surfboard India Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Consequential damages
- Incidental or special damages
- Lost profits
- Business interruption
- Loss of goodwill
- Loss of data
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs
- Decisions made based on Lungoor outputs
- Third-party service failures outside our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
20. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Surfboard India Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your use or misuse of Lungoor
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your content
- Your violation of applicable law
- Your infringement of third-party rights
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to Lungoor shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Thane, Maharashtra, India.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, business, legal obligations, or policies.
For material changes, we will notify registered users before the updated Terms become effective. Continued use of Lungoor after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Where required by applicable law, we may request renewed consent.
